Personal Trainer Overview
I take personal training very personal! My mission is to find out what works for each individual client. Put my feet in your athletic shoes and feel what you feel! We all … can have health and fitness conducive our lifestyle. My mission is to guide those that entrust my skills ….. to be the best they can be! I will play a positive role for my clientele’s well being. Therefore improve on their quality of life.
Being Fit ….. Means a few things on a consistent basis has to happen ; …… Basic Strength Training …. Our skeletal system is supported by muscles therefore strong muscles will prevent injury and create less vulnerability . More muscle mass means a higher metabolism. Flexibility ….. Creates better range of motion, elongates and prevents injury as well low back pain. Core Training …. Strengthens and tightens abdominal / back muscles preventing the effects from everyday functions Nutritional …. Increases energy, promotes fat loss while preventing major health diseases. Aerobic Conditioning …. Creates calorie deficit while promoting energy and cardiovascular endurance.

June of 1987 I started working out with a personal trainer. It might matter that this was an outdoor gym with the views of Haleakala Crater and the beaches of South Maui. As I still today feel the ambiance around my work out matters! By the end of 1987 I began training the clientele of that gym. In 1990 I started Tight-N-Tone by Sonja. Through the years I have been exposed to many fitness facilities ranging from powerhouse gyms , elite health clubs and private country clubs. All the while continuing my Tight-N-Tone personal clientele training. I have experienced a large variety of people with an even larger variety of goals and limitations. Certified with American Council of Exercise early 1999.
