Personal Trainer Overview

I like to treat every client as an “athlete”. This does not mean all clients will do plyometrics, max out lifting and other explosive athletic training activities. Non-athletes (grandparents, kids, moms, dads, professionals, etc..) have fitness goals just as athletes have completion goals. Clients may want to “train” for the summer vacation with the family, a wedding, or even a class reunion. I will sit down with each client and figure out a primary training goal, then we will focus on small training goals to help achieve the primary goal. If I can help my clients make a few lifestyle modification to improve his/her health then I feel that I have done my job to help that person live a healthy and productive life.

Chris is currently the Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Sports Medicine at Malone University. Chris holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education and Athletic Training along with a Master's of Education degree. Chris also provides medical care for the USA Track and Field teams during international competition and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
