Michael Moody is a whole food plant-based personal trainer, author of the book Redefine Yourself, and host/producer of the podcast, "The Elements of Being." His fitness and life-structure programs have helped his clients lose more than 3,000 pounds and transform their lives since 2005. With over 18,000 hours of one-on-one personal training sessions, Michael is truly a lifelong student of the mind and body. Michael, recently named on Modern Luxury's "It List", is also known for being the fitness expert on the Biggest Loser/MSN Chicago tour and the former personal fitness trainer for The Whitney Reynolds Show on PBS. He has been featured in Muscle & Fitness and Today's Chicago Woman magazines, among others. Michael is also a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Certified Weight Loss Specialist, and Certified Senior Fitness Specialist. As a motivational speaker, Michael has presented over 100 hours on fitness, motivation, body image, and stress at Illinois State University, corporations, schools, and workshops. Additionally, Michael has researched emotion and coping behaviors in university level studies and received degrees in psychology, sociology, and education.
