Personal Trainer Overview

The fitness industry has certainly changed since my start in 1980 at a small weightlifting gym. From physical therapy clinics and managing health clubs to opening my first fitness retail store and founding my own gym, my focus has come time and time again to activity specific rehabilitation. While the adaptability of the human body was apparent during my days as a competitive Olympic Weightlifter and Bodybuilder, it is the ability of our bodies to heal and grow stronger that inspires me.

Training Philosophy

As an exercise scientist, it is an honor to help you function better in your daily life. Exercise should give you the strength to do what you want to do, it should be enjoyable and enhance your enjoyment in your everyday life: in your home, your garden, your office, and on the field. We should all look forward to exercise to strengthen our body as well as our mind.


BS Exercise Science


My background stems from 30 years in the fitness industry. I am a personal trainer first, but have managed numerous fitness and wellness centers, opened a fitness retail store and founded a specialized training center. My driving force comes from the relationships I create with the clients I work with. There is no greater reward than helping clients achieve goals they thought were out of reach.
