Personal Trainer Overview

Jennifer Garretson, ACSM-CPT, NASM-CES, is a certified personal trainer working out of Total Health and Exercise, Personal Training Gym, a non-membership private personal training facility. The facility is a total of 2000sqf with locker rooms, showers, free towel service, and a large selection of new functional training equipment. The fitness trainers are very diverse in their training and knowledge. You can choose from sports conditioning, weight management, boot camp classes, high intensity circuit training, strength training, and general health. Conveniently located in Englewood, Colorado at 6979 S Holly Circle (in the Homestead Park Medical Building), it's close to the south Denver areas of the DTC, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Englewood, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Centennial and Littleton.

Training Philosophy


In 1998, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, with an emphasis in Fitness from Colorado State University. She has also received her certification as a personal trainer from ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), the gold standard in the fitness industry. She also is a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). As part of her certifications, she keeps up with current news in the fitness arena by attending conferences and reading recent publications.


Jennifer has a passion for health, fitness and wellness. During her own weight loss journey, she found that diet, nutrition and exercise was the most effective, healthiest approach that works for both the short and long term. Her clients enjoy workouts that are fun, challenging, effective and focused on their individual goals. Workouts include a balance of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises, sticking to the basics. She works with a variety of people, primarily women looking to lose weight.
