Training Philosophy



My name is Timothy, and I'm going to be radically honest with you. I was once the kid who was afraid of doing anything that involved being around other people (and especially fitness), because I was fat. I was called "fat ass" and "chubby" more times than I care to remember. I remember it taking me an upwards of 14+ minutes to run a single mile, and I used to be the last one finishing our FBF (or Fitness Boot Camp Friday) drills. Ugh, I can't re-call nothing but bad memories in that department. My self-confidence was at an all-time low, I had absolutely no energy at all, my level of fitness was rock bottom, and I had the worst feeling of all: I hated myself. I tried jogging (which was boring), choreography (which was confusing), the gym (which was expensive and even more confusing), dieting (which was hard-to-follow and lasted about a week), and all sorts of machines, videos, and silly pieces of equipment that did absolutely nothing but delay what I could have been doing... losing weight. When I hit 8th grade, I was SICK and TIRED of looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw, being irritable and sluggish all the time, having no idea what to do or how to get started losing weight, secretly wanting someone else's body, and "false promises" with other nearly impossible diets and workout programs. I made the commitment to myself that I was not going to keep this up another second longer - and that is EXACTLY what I did. Since I was able to make some drastic changes in my life, staying fit and healthy has been very important to me since I HAVE to stay healthy. You see, my family has a long history of heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, hypothyroidism, and even alcoholism! Since all of these things have their own risks, if I don't maintain a healthy lifestyle, I could easily be on a road I can't afford to be on. At this point in my life, I am in great shape, and am dedicated to changing the lives of others (as I am a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Certified Sports Nutritionist). Even still, I kept gaining the same few pounds on and off throughout the year. When I indulged into this phenomena, I discovered the problem: consistency and adaptation. I was gaining the same amount of weight because I was doing the same things over and over, and was so stressed about gaining the weight that my stress hormones did that for me (even though I was eating a little better). With this knowledge, I spent months compiling research, studying, and educating myself. Once I pieced it together, I wasn't going to keep it a secret. That's when I put together Incineration. I'll be the first to tell you that Incineration doesn't have mystical powers that will magically transform your body overnight. But, what I will tell you is that it is one of the most extensive, fun, non-traditional, and life changing opportunities for you in the area. The workouts are fun, me and the others involved will help you stay motivated and consistent the entire time, and the results you can achieve are absolutely amazing! You have the opportunity to better yourself and make some perplexing lifestyle changes.
