Personal Trainer Overview

I take a very scientific approach to every aspect of training and nutrition because understanding the physiology of exercise on the body is half the battle. The other half is applying that knowledge in efficient and effective ways that may vary from each individual. I have worked with every age group and every fitness level and have yet to meet anyone I was not able to improve I offer personal training, injury rehab/prevention, sport specific training, nutrition counseling, sport/exercise psychology counseling and much more. The reason I enjoy working in these areas is to give back to others in the best way I am capable of, and most importantly because I really enjoy working with people in a personal way as well as my passion for health and fitness. I have an extensive background and experience in strength and conditioning with athletes and a strong understanding of all things exercise science, nutrition, psychology, and rehabilitation. I am pursuing this job because I hope to transforms lives by educating clients on every facet of their health and fitness. I intend to teach clients all that I can rather than just tell them what to do. This way they have the tools and knowledge to continue their health and fitness journey long after working with me as well as pass that knowledge on to others. I am extremely personable and very good at understanding individual needs not only in program design, nutrition, flexiblility, age/gender considerations etc. but also in the social, psychosocial, and psychological understanding of people and these effects on exercise. I am dedicated to perfecting the smallest details because the whole picture and desired end results are much harder to achieve and unsustainable without attention to detail. Ultimately I would like this job because I love people and I want to give back in the way I know I am most effective.
