Personal Trainer Overview
Focus Fitness is a customized fitness training service helping individuals achieve their personal health and fitness goals. It is NOT a cookie cutter workout program given to everyone. Each person has a unique body, fitness level, goals, and physical/health limitations. My extensive training, experience, and knowledge enable me to design a program to help individuals perform at their physical best, regardless of age or fitness level.
My extensive education and wide breadth of experience has enabled me to gain a very deep understanding of the body on many levels and has shaped my training style & philosophy. I believe this is one of many variables that differentiates me from other trainers. I continue to dedicate a great deal of time to staying abreast on the latest research & attend many seminars to ensure that you get the best results possible. Most importantly, I like to make your sessions fun & tailored to your goals incorporating all different modalities from pilates, total suspension training, yoga designed specifically based on your needs & without compromising your safety. The hour will fly by. I believe that we are a team!

I started teaching fitness classes when I was a junior in high school, and it was during this time I was able to see the positive impact I could have on people's lives. Consequently, my passion and enthusiasm for health & fitness led me to major in Kinesiology and minor in Nutrition at Arizona State University. As part of my major, I worked in physical therapy clinics learning both injury prevention & rehabilitation. I also apprenticed in an elite state-of-the-art athletic training center for several years. I continued my academic career at Arizona State University obtaining a Masters of Science degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Nutrition. My thesis was in the area of Type II Diabetes & Obesity Development.
