Personal Trainer Overview

I specialize in pain management, sport specific training, strength training, and weight management. I have education and experience in every aspect of training, which allows me to help any person who wants to see and feel a positive change in their life. I truly have a servant's heart and I want to guide a client to live the BEST, the healthiest, the fittest lifestyle possible!

Training Philosophy

I believe life really is about balance and it’s not cliché to say so. We have Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual needs and I will customize a program specifically for you that will balance and satisfy those needs. Each customized program (based on a variety of training styles) starts will a full body assessment and composition, a structural integrity assessment and a nutrition evaluation. My goal is to inspire you to pursue the benefits of a healthier lifestyle and to utilize fitness as a way of life and not something you have to do. Making changes is not easy but that’s why I am here to provide you with knowledge, moral support and encouragement along the way to get the life you want, need, and deserve!

A.A. Liberal Studies B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science

I honestly am a “Jane of all trades”. I have a B.S. Degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, I am a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medice) certified personal trainer, a Parisi Speed School Coach, I am certified in Nutrition through APEX and DotFit, and I am CPR/AED certified. I love and have played every sport and went on to play volleyball in college in California. I started coaching 12-16 year olds in volleyball in 2001 and have continuously done so throughout the years. I have many who have moved on to play at the college level and 2 ladies have been on teams that have won National Championships. During college, in addition to coaching, I worked as a PT Aide and there I gained the skills and the knowledge from some of the best Physical Therapist in California. I learned the Feldenkrais techniques, including self-myofascial release and trigger point therapy, also therapeutic exercises, therapeutic stretching and therapeutic massage. After college I worked as a Pysiotherapist for 4 years practicing the same techniques I learned in school and as an Aide. I was helping people live healthier and pain free lives. When I moved to Idaho 12 years ago, I started working as Personal Trainer at Gold’s Gym Parkcenter, now Axiom. I quickly found my niche as a pre and post rehabilitation specialist. My abilities, my client successes and my hard work ethic led me to become one of the top trainers at Gold's for the 4 years I was there. I have a passion for helping people reach their health and fitness goals and to live a pain free life! My successes come from my clients that have done so; in order for me to succeed you need to succeed. Call me today at 208.841.9890 and let us succeed together!
